Vahid H Khiabani currently is an
Assistant Professor of Operations Management at Minnesota State University
Moorhead. He received his PhD in Industrial Engineering from North Dakota State
University in 2014, and in the same year he joined MSUM. His current
research interests include Operations Research, Power System Optimization,
Healthcare Process Improvement, Mathematical and Probabilistic Modelling,
Heuristics, Lean & Six Sigma. In August 2004, he received his B.S.
degree in Applied Mathematics from Azad University Tabriz branch, Iran. In
Fall 2006, he joined Eastern Mediterranean University in Cyprus
for graduate studies. He completed his M.S. in Industrial Engineering in
August 2008. During his Master programs, he was working as a research and
teaching assistant in Department of Industrial Engineering. His
masterís dissertation was on warranty cost modeling.
